It has a beautiful tailored. almost trouser-inspired construction rather than a traditional soft pleated skirt. This is a high-waisted, full midi skirt in a deep aubergine/plum-bown shade. The wide structured waistband ad belt-loop detailing give the waist a crisp, tailored finish, while the deep inverted pleats open into a dramatically fuller silhouette toward the hem. 

The front has angled pocket/flap details edged with decorative embellishment, giving the otherwise minimalist skirt a subtle touch of glamour. From the back, you can see the large center inverted pleat, welt style pocket details and a small Gizia logo accent. 

The fabric also appears to have enough body to maintain that sculptural A-line shape rather than falling softly against the body.
