1. Elaine's Personal Story

Elaine will share her personal story with heart filled wisdom, tear shedding truths, and side splitting laughter. She vulnerably shares how she overcame challenges and unexpected life circumstances to become the person she is today. She discusses her experiences of trying to do it and be it all, and how she came to the ultimate realization that no outside voice or achievement could fulfill her. Elaine came to understand that finding wholeness was an inside job and that self-love is the key to discovering enduring peace and fulfillment. Elaine uses the acronym- R.I.S.E.U.P. as her guide to talk through how she came to reclaim and build her self-worth.

2. Know Your Worth

Elaine will walk us through her soon to be launched Know Your Worth Program. She will guide us through her own story and how she came to discover her wholeness. She will highlight the three main tenants of her program: self-discovery, self-acceptance and self- compassion. And, she will share specific tools and practices that she uses to reclaim and build he self-worth.

In Breaking the Glass Slipper, Elaine shares with us her newfound understanding by debunking several pervasive societal myths that we have been told, sold and programmed to believe. She tells personal, heartfelt and often times hysterical stories that are thoroughly backed up by research. Elaine inspires us to let go of fear, failure and expectations knowing we don’t have to fit a set mold or be a victim to our struggles. This book is a journey about finding your own truth—a truth that keeps you from ever needing a glass slipper. Because why walk when the truth lets you fly?

I've seen Elaine speak many times and what strikes me is that she is so natural in connecting with the audience. I particularly remember the keynote she gave at a gala fundraiser for TUTS' The River, an organization that supports children with disabilities and differences to participate in the performing arts. She spoke eloquently about the journey with her daughter Marlie, who has neurological differences. As an educator who works with children with learning differences, I know that Elaine understands the challenges these special needs kids and families face and always speaks from the heart.

Elaine is so at home in front of an audience. As a working mom, she understands the complexities of being a woman today while running a business and raising a family. She loves to speak to and inspire women, while always conveying warmth and humor. She's real and she gets it.
